They lost Munich (16,000 seats), they might lose Paris (more seats than Munich), they might lose Brazil. Pretty soon that $60B in the bank might fall to $59B, or worse...

Details: The city of Munich is in the process of converting from Windows to Linux for decreased cost, increased security, better uniformity. Paris is looking at a similar conversion for the same reasons. Brazil is looking at the same conversion. Thailand is experimenting with it, as is China. Thusfar Microsoft has used the (specious) argument that Windows and MS Office are cheaper than Linux and Open Office. When that argument doesn't work they often fall back on the capitalism (freedom!) vs socialism argument.
