no question, but they make less money and are less skilled at whatever it is they do, especially in super markets , department stores and service stations...unless at one of the upscale types of those, you find workers with little or no knowledge of the products/stock, or vehicle care, and clerks don't even need to do math anymore, with computer-calculator checkouts that tell them how much change to give, etc.
