CalPERS registers as FII

MUMBAI, JULY 21. As a pointer towards growing confidence in the Indian
capital market, California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) with
investment portfolio of $162 billion has registered with the Securities and
Exchange Board of India as a foreign institutional investor (FII).
