    Doug can provide much more data from AAPOR but, I'll just say, as a  
former employee of the (Mervin) Field Poll in Ca. founded in '45, that the  
Field Poll from 1948 to 2000, was within 1%+or- of the Nov. Pres. popular  
vote.
