he's baaack...but why?

"Lyndon LaRouche ... has warned that the international monetary system is about to collapse and that five billion people will die in the ensuing chaos..."

this alone can't be evidence of his wackiness, since the first seems unlikely at the moment, but could happen, and the second might follow, though this prediction is about as safe as the one the one that says the end of the world is near...someday, both may happen, so this guy may be a world class coo-coo, but this doesn't prove it ...

"But since the death just over a year ago of the British student Jeremiah Duggan, a 22-year-old Jew found dead in mysterious circumstances in Germany after becoming involved with LaRouche supporters, his organization has come under closer scrutiny than it has for decades."

why?... is the designation of this dead person as " a 22 year old Jew" more, or less significant than his being a 22 year old... anything else? did i miss something in the article? was the 22 year old carrying papers that proved the prediction about the collapse of the financial system as being false?

more important, why is this guy in the news at all? are the anybody-but-bushies worried that he wil take votes from kerry?
