[lbo-talk] North Korea goes online

I wrote an article a couple of years ago after on
Kim's meeting with Putin, and the North Korean news
outlet at that time was full of things like "after
Kim's glorious meeting with the Russian president, in
which the Russians heeded his every word, he returned
home. Then prodigious wonders were seen throughout the
land. Miraculous rainbows appeared over the lakes of
Korea, and waterfalls began to flow upward." I am not
exaggerating.

What I don't get is why North Koreans are putting this
stuff on the web in English. Are they unaware that it
makes them look stupid?
