Another golden moment of the Democratic National Convention was during 
Hillary Clinton's remarks Monday when she smugly declared:  "Now I know a 
thing or two about health care!"  This from the woman whose megalomania was 
a principal reason the US got sweet fuck-all from the Clinton Administration 
in terms of national health care.

Wayne Barrett has a good article in the current Village Voice on how 
intensely centrist Hillary is, e.g.:   "The first New York senator to serve 
on the Armed Services Committee, she's voted for every defense appropriation 
since arriving in the Senate in 2001....  When 40 Senate Democrats voted for 
a 2002 Chris Dodd amendment to try to maintain minimal U.S. ties to the 
newly U.N.-created International Criminal Court, Clinton was one of eight 
Democrats to join the Republicans in a vote to crush it."
