Yup. He made a few good calls, so he has some cred on that basis. He's made some bad ones too, but that doesn't seem to have an effect. He's also got a knack for self-promotion, which never hurts.
By the way, it seems that Fox does funny things with their weighting formulas too, like using party ID rather than demographic formulas. Curiously, Bush always does better in Fox polls.
