And let's not forget what was engaged -- Dr. Said chastising Miller for having the nuts to contribute to an Israeli "interrogation" of a prisoner and then having enough nuts/shame deficiency to write about it in _God Has Ninety-Nine Names_. Even before an invasion of Iraq was a mote in the eye of a whitepaper on Richard Perle's desk, La Miller was far better at embedding herself (some pun intended -- cf. SPY magazine's profiles) in order to serve the interests of power and her own career, as opposed to, you know, stuff like investigating, reporting...
