Both Bowie & Elvis recanted this shit long ago. Bowie was going for shock while in a coke haze, and Elvis was trying to piss off -- what was her name, Bonnie Bramlett? -- in a bar while he was on tour. Poor choices, I agree, but hardly representative of either of them.
