The Cars were a local band, so I can easily forgive WBCN for promoting them. What amazes me is that Oedipus has stayed in place while his station first jumped on the "alternative" bandwagon and then decided to modify that format in blinkered fashion: by building a playlist around such luminaries as Limp Bisket and Linkin Park. 'BCN has been playing junk for years now.
