Yup. Chavez isn't perfect, but really - the reasons the Venezuelan elite and the U.S. government want him out are entirely hideous. And if the recall movement is being allowed to operate in the open, and may well win their battle, just how repressive can Chavez be?
I keep waiting for someone to explain how any seriously progressive government can resist the plottings of the CIA and its own elite while remaining faithful to the preferences of the DSA or your local spokescouncil. Haven't heard anything credible yet.
