Will Geer's lover in the 30's. PWW of the CPUSA had an obit when he died. Founder of Mattachine Society w/ other CPUSA'ers, after their, "Bachelors for (Henry ) Wallace in '48. Purged from Mattachine during McCarthyite repression. Later founder of the Radical Faeries. Their journal RFD is a fun read. Rural gay hippies on communes.
