"HARVARD'S BLACKS ARE MAINLY IMMIGRANTS OR BIRACIAL"

more important than that is the class background of that handful of affirmed people...and those two groups are likely to come from less "average" background, economic and racial, and that's why AA is so wonderful...or dreadful, depending on whether one supports change in the system, or change in the sex, race, etc., of those who maintain , protect and give the system continuity and higher levels of consumption for more diverse groups...

if you affirm the system, whether consciously or not, you get affirmative action...

check out how many blacks, whether born here, there, biracial or bisexual, are being affirmed, and how many more - many, many more - are being negated...as in, how many at yale, how many in jail...the second group is not jumping up and down cheering for affirmative action, because it doesn't get any...but support for AA is still some sort of liberal litmus test for good people who sincerely believe it helps all blacks...

yeah, right...
