Our suspect Chalabi sure is creating enough chaos above ground as well:

"The council members that refused to sign were Pentagon ally Chalabi of the Iraqi National Congress, Abdel-Aziz al-Hakim of the Supreme Council, Ibrahim al-Jaafari of the Dawa party, independent Shiite Mouwafak al-Rubaie and the current council president Shiite cleric Muhammad Bahr al-Ulloum, al-Bayati said."

Quite an embarrassment for the Keystone Cops. Of course, the knucklehead AP journalists never question why a "Pentagon ally" would undo the work of a state that the Pentagon is a part of.

Chalabi, meanwhile, has been busy working the US media circuit. Whereas before he was willing to fall on his sword as a "hero of error" (soon to be made into a new Congressional medal), Chalabi has now changed his tune, and says the CIA is to blame, after all. Just like his boss Perle says:

Nothing but trouble until this worm is squished.
