That's funny, I'm one of the folks this article Woj quoted is about.
The upside, no commute; flexible work hours.
The downside: no technical support, must use part of my house for an office, and things that used to take minutes, now take hours or days because it's hard to get hold of people or undertand things without hand genstures.
