Nixon was no neoliberal, just another apparatchik of Empire. Nowadays, though, US neoliberalism is clearly on the ropes, due to a few trillion euros it happens to owe to its (increasingly unhappy) creditors. What's scary is that the US oiligarchy is making Euroliberalism look good.
