Over here (UK) in the late 70s a lot of punks identified with
Thatcher, for reasons usually more visceral than ideological.  Not
always: I remember a punk band called Chelsea whose "famous" song was
"Right to Work", with indecipherable lyrics which I took to endorse
the obvious position.  Not so: I came across an interview with the
lead singer a few years ago in which it was became clear this was an
anti-union song.

Actually, Bush and co seem a lot more like La Thatch than Ronnie ever
did, now I come to think of it...
