No good can come of pre-teens experimenting with sex, and that's exactly what MTV etc. encourage them to do. Little girls want to be grown up and socially accepted, and boys want to put their virgin weiners into anything that's warm.
Nor is it smart for teens to indulge, given the Irresponsibility of boys leading to the dangers of pregnancy and disease.
This is not 'prudery.' It's basic to caring for a child.
