that comment, and that response, may cover quite a bit of the american work force...
i can remember looking for a "job", and not knowing or caring much about what it was, simply because i desperately needed a job...granted, that was a long time ago, but millions live that reality, well into their adult years and beyond...walmart, and other firms that many here would find contemptible, are offering survival wages to workers who haven't got anywhere else to go.
