[lbo-talk] Nader the Condorcet Winner in 2000

DH's criticism is valid up to a point. What things like Condorcet DO tell us is where most Democrats' priorities are. Rather than vent their spleen at fundamental problems of American elections like the electoral college, lack of IRV, antiquated voting technology, gerrymandering, etc., Democrats seem to reserve their greatest venom for Nader. This tells us quite a bit about the world we unfortunately live in.

That's all very nice, but we don't have a voting system like that in the U.S. So, we've either got to change the system, cope with its constraints, or follow Chuck0 and ignore the whole damn thing. This exercise doesn't really tell us much about the world we unfortunately live in.
