[lbo-talk] British Torture Photos A Fake?

It's amusing to see the media jumping on the possibly fake character of the British photos. In this day and age of digital photos, guerilla psyops becomes all the easier it would seem. This is kind of an inversion of the American psyops campaign during and after the official invasion of Iraq and the occupation. Now the same tactics can be used by those opposed to the occupier as well, since, after all, as any good American or British psyops officer will tell you, what matters is that the photos get etched in the memory of the masses, not that they are real--thus silly pseudoevents and pseudophotos of the 'saddam statue falling' shown over and over and over...By the time it was reported as fake crowds in the picture...well it was already in the minds of most Americans as a piece of war meaning.

These British pictures can well turn out to be fake, it doesn't matter, the effect is already irreversible. As they say, what comes around goes around.
