Isn't the operative word here _was_? Now he's a big warmonger--more troops, etc.--with the pro-UN stuff thrown in around the edges.
More importantly, he said he agreed with Bush fully on Israel. This defies sense--and decency. He could have at least punted and said that the US's position doesn't matter if the parties agree.
And the reason I should vote for him is?
