After I read the accounts in the morning papers, I thought "Wait just one 
minute!"
This guy's father is a peace activist.
The guy gets picked up by Iraqi police. Why?
Then is turned over to U.S. folks. Why?
THEN his family hears from him that he was well treated. All is well.
Then his family hears he's been decapitated (they did not want it to become 
public).
It's too perfect: Muslims with hoods, saying Allah be praised, etc. 
Reference to the prisoner abuses. Sure.
This is why Hollywood script writers are among the prime suspects vis a vis 
CIA dirty ops.
Maybe he was in the wrong place at the wrong time.
Maybe they sacrificed one of their own. It's been known.
Anyway, the official story is being swallowed whole by the media....as 
usual.

"Al Qaeda" is at it again.  This time the shadowy
terrorist organization (with global reach) executed
young Nick Berg on video in a most horrific fashion.
(Berg was decapitated with a long knife.)  Berg was
wearing orange overalls, the kind that prisoners being
held at Guantanamo Bay wear.

Doubts are circulating about the tragic event.  CLG
points out some curious anomalies with the story on

CLG points out that Berg had been arrested by Iraqi
police and held by the US military without any
charges.  In addition, FBI agents visited the Berg
family to ask them questions about their son.

Exactly how Nick Berg went from being imprisoned by
the US military to being imprisoned by Al Qaeda is
unclear.

that the leading suspect in the Berg case, known as
Al-Zarquawi, was previously believed to be dead:

This barbaric execution is very curiously timed.  It
comes during an explosion of press reports that have
been dubbed "Torture-gate"; i.e., the release of
photos showing Iraqi prisoners being sadistically
abused by the US military.  Berg's execution may
actually inure the western public into accepting the
Iraqi prison abuses.  It may even get the US general
public to accept the idea of executions taking place
in Guantanamo Bay.  After all, look at what these al
Qaeda savages have done to one of our people.

So once again al Qaeda has worked against its own
interests.  It did so with 9-11 (we're told).  It did
so by bombing Turkey when George Bush was in London.
It did so by bombing Spain four days before their
election.  (The Socialist victory was a complete
surprise to Bush and the mainstream media.  Later,
this unexpected outcome became al Qaeda's plan all
along.)

The general public hasn't yet caught on to this but
whenever al Qaeda strikes it does so for the benefit
of the neoconservatives in Washington and Ariel
Sharon's government in Israel.  Either it is the most
inept terrorist organization in world history or it is
a CIA/Mossad proxy.

Nick Berg, RIP.
