Wonkette is cutting a bi-partisan swath through DC these days costing one Senate staffer her job with others likely to follow from the offices of Republican Senator Mike DeWine of Ohio and Democratic Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut. It also appears that at least one marriage may be through after a high ranking Senate aide with a wife and two children is caught up in the scandal. One blogger with the improbably name of I Love Jenna Bush is now decoding the Washingtonienne blog and naming names. And now Playboy magazine has come along looking to cash in on the brewing Washington scandal.
Meanwhile, Wonkette Editor Ana Marie Cox and new-found love Jessica Cutler, aka Washingtonienne, aka Ms. Four-Hundred Dollars per Hour, are having a grand old time parlaying their new found celebrity on the DC social scene. Washington's hottest party couple is now making the rounds on the talk show circuit with a recent appearance on Fox News Channel.
TND is hearing through the grapevine that that Playboy magazine is in discussions to offer both Cutler and Cox a six figure deal to pose nude for an upcoming issue of Playboy timed for the fall elections - more if they pose together. Cutler, who has done her share of glam-photos in the past, would be looking at a hefty pay increase over the $400 per hour she was earning as a DC escort for Capital Hill staffes and cabinet officials.
