But they just can't bring themselves to print her name or admit that, while others dutifully reported the Washington line, Miller did so with amplification, adding large measures of Chalabi disinfo into the mix. Worse yet, they're framing it as a series of journalistic shortcomings (insufficient sourcing, mistaking perceived consesus for verifiable fact, etc) without considering that it was the Times' - Miller's specifically - reporting that helped "legitimize" the war against Iraq and propel the US toward the mess it now finds itself in.
