Well, I'm sure such people will grumble about such matters, but at as a practical matter, even if the US starts pulling out today, it will take them some time, maybe up to a year to get out. And the damage to Iraqi insitutions is already done, there is a power vacuum, and no cohesive 'Iraqi people' to leave things to, so any well meaning withdrawal would not leave them to their own devices, which would likely mean endless anarchy. And then there's always the question of what to do about the oil.....
