[lbo-talk] Is Nader a Marxist, socialist, capitalist, bourgeoisdemocrat, or just lonely

Perhaps, but it's also a great retort politically. Marxism's record on democracy is very bad, starting with Marx himself, who was lukewarm about it.

The lack of enthusiasm about RN has very little to do with what RN says about Marxism, and almost everything to do with the shrinkage and rightward drift of the DP. If the DP were hospitable to RN's politics, we'd all be busting our tails to get him elected.

This comment pretty much sums up my lack of enthusiasm for RN: he's so naive about Marxism that he conflates it with totalitarianism.
