But it was 51-48 with record turnout, a good, articulate candidate (war hero, no less), the whole left behind him, major mobilization, lots of money, celebrity endorsement, the best musicians and actors, a couple of big money sugar daddies, a president with an awful record, etc., etc. That the DP could not win with this lineup is pretty grim. I have never seen such mobilization and enthusiasm by the progressive community and we could not beat the worst president in modern times.

Besides, I need to vent a little. I work for EPA and my future does not look very bright right now.
