You know, leaving the US really is not terribly
difficult. Just find a job in country x at a company
that hires foreigners and go. Anybody with a good
command of English can get a job in the former Soviet
Union and probably lots of other places as an editor.
Not that that would help you if you're leaving because
of gay rights issues.
