You know anyone more liberal in public life today? Actually he's been quite good here in Illinois. Carrol can bitch that he's not a commie, but there are no commies in the Illinois statehouse. Or any public office that counts in America. He's also thoughtful, able, and has an amzing capacity to charm white racist downstate voters who never vored Democratic in their lives. If they don't kill him first, he has a possibility of being a serious contender for the Presidency. We should be so lucky that he would win. jks
