it's a bit scary, but maybe it can lead to some form of action 
that isn;t as hysterical as the present mood, which strikes 
me as the equivalent of black helicopter-right wing radio 
types seeing "them" as having plotted, conspired and 
driven us all to the brink of something or other...

really, the present mood, among some who consider 
themselves  an intelligentsia facing hordes of know 
nothings, is about as reasonable and rational as a lynch 
mob...

the only safe thing is that most of the people feeling this 
alienated rage are not capable of  getting angry enough to 
form a lynch mob...but a progressive politcal movement 
would be nice...it just doesn't seem possible, at the 
moment...
