I know it sounds silly, but it does work. The trick is to mean it. It isn't a game. It is an assault, in the way that demonstrations, and not going to work, or a strike are assaults. Assaulting the `social' body.

The most obvious recent examples are the public gay marriage ceremonies. Sure there was reaction and it may have pushed tolerance toward homosexuality back a few notches---but not really. That tolerance has to be tested and the best way to find out is to push and see. So now it's time to push some more, harder. Civil rights didn't get to the '64 CRA by being nice...
