BTW, if people haven't seen it, the film by van Gogh that started this all ("Submission, Part 1") is viewable online and is quite worth watching IMHO. It's only 11 minutes long, in English with Dutch subtitles:

I was surprised at how elegant it was. You can certainly see how some people might find it outrageous. Even from a secular perspective, it's a little disjointing for a film about the gross abuse of women to be so seductive. The two short written comments at the site that hosts it are also interesting.
