There's just no precedent for this position in U.S. history. Periods of disruption from the left came in the 1930s, 1960s, and to a lesser extent the 1990s - all under Democratic presidencies. The 1920s, 1950s, and 1980s were relatively quiet, and the Nixon years marked the end of the 60s. So what are you basing this on other than your own feelings?
