I always thought Reality TV was the surest cultural sign of looming 
depression. But, long live Terry Southern! His "Loved One" -- available 
on video -- is one of the best black comedies I've ever seen: Anjeanette 
Comer, Milton Berle, Rod Steiger, Jonathan Winters. Based on a novel by 
Waugh; probably inspired "Six Feet Under.."

"The Magic Christian" was a mediocre movie, but it does feature Laurence 
Harvey doing a stip tease while delivering the  soliloqui from Hamlet. 
Worth the price of admission.
