Nonsense. The EU is a 10 trillion EUR economy which produces most of the
world's machine-tools, cars, cellphones and chemicals. Eastern Europe is
picking up speed, and Russia is turning into the China of the EU - soaking
up high-tech goods, while producing more and more of its own.
