You sell yourself short. You are honest & from what I have seen - definitely not an opportunist.
MJ is dishonest and a prime opportunist. 
In the dying days of the CPGB (Of which before anyone shouts - none should use the term M-List) - he was a leading figure, and which he abandoned when he correctly saw that Gorby was about to succeed in his destruction of the false facade of "socialism". 
My frank prognosis for your future as the darling-fig-leaf of the establishment is - poor.

I took your advice by the way & looked up that poem by Brecht. Very good. In that German context, by the way, saw Rossenstrasse (Margareta v.Trotta)  last week. Very good.
