The "personhood" of the corporation is essentially what gives profit the same "rights" as those bestowed on humans. In fact, it gives it more than it does to the individual: the individual's personhood is delimited by death. The corporation's personhood is delimited by nothing other than it's right to and ability to make a profit...and thus continue to exist. The corporation is therefore potentially immortal, like Dracula.
