Isn't it more likely that "people" are becoming more like corporations than the other way around? For instance: trusts. You CAN live on, through your money, after your body dies. This was always one of the big ideas of giving corporations 'personhood' status (can 'boy corporations' marry 'girl corporations' ...?): succession. Now that your estate can (cleanly) survive a short-term downsize like human death, can it be much further down the road that people will gain 'corporationhood' ...?

In the long run, we're all inc'd. :)
