Not only that, but so many people keep repeating the mistake of talking about "the ruling class" or "the bourgeoisie" as though it were a single, homogeneous bloc. It seems perfectly obvious to me, at least, that a small, weak Left has no hope at all of accomplishing anything unless there are serious splits in the power-holders, and the Left is able to spy signs of them and clever enough to exploit them profitably. But that means that at some point the Left has to be prepared to find allies in the "bourgeoisie" and cooperate with them, which is anathema to the folks who believe in a monolithic "enemy."
