---------------------------------
What's so bad about poor Ton, Dennis? :) He's a nice guy who was raised to
take over the family business, and now feels himself trapped in it. He
mostly acts rationally in defence of his interests like any capitalist, but
sometimes loses it and resorts to wild violence when threatened. (Try to
appreciate he's in a line of work where the competition can be cutthroat.)
He's tried to give his kids everything he lacked, but it's spoiled them
rotten. His domineering mom, to whom he was a devoted son, tried to have him
whacked by his uncle. He loves his wife, but can't stop playing around. He
feels oppressed by the Feds. He can't trust his friends, who, you have to
admit, are colourful, whatever their other failings. Is it any wonder that's
left him conflicted and in need of therapy?
