$65 million is tiny, compared to the half a billion dollars which gets spent on the US Presidential election alone, mostly by the scions of Capital. Here are the major donors to both candidates:

SEIU's leadership and much of its membership are not happy with the Dems, but they're pragmatic enough to know that nothing good can happen in this country until the oiligarchy is booted out. With Shrub gone, labor will be able to go from defensive struggles to offensive ones.
