Early voting began here in Texas today, too. But the members of my family that are voting for Kerry are not taking advantage of this. My stepfather, a Catholic who is voting Kerry this year despite having voted for Bush in 2000, said he doesn't want to give election officials two weeks to search through and shred up pro-Kerry ballots. I'm going to wait til November to vote, too, for pretty much the same reason. I've gotten a little paranoid about this.
