Most of all, panic fear of Bush.  Then sustained demonization of Nader
by the Official Left.  Nader's own political incompetence (above all
his refusal to build the Green Party or even to join it).  The
pied-piper (Howard Dean) effect.  All this under the usual media
drumbeat of a horse race between those perennial contenders
Tweedledum and Tweedledumber.
