Chalk it up as another one of those "friendly fire" incidents -- this confusion seems to have taken a far more horrific toll of the left.

^^^ Did it confuse people who were already left, or just confuse some politically regular people , yet in that confusion also detaching them from the "canon", and making them _potential_ , inchoate leftists ? Aren't some deconstructionists inchoate leftists or revolutionaries ?
