Well, I was wondering how long it would take before the corporate arm of the thought police would cut off my webspace access... It has just happened !

My ISP has pointed me to a tiny paragraph in their general conditions saying that I am not allowed to use the free web space they provide for political or religious proselytism... (there is no First Amendment in France) - therefore my website is shut down and I have no more FTP or HTTP access to it...

Since I am up to my head in work it gives me a good excuse not to write my daily column... But I will have to do something about this sooner or later.

So, dear friends of Liberty... Can anyone recommend a not too expensive hosting solution that will withstand the prowling nose of lawyers, talibans, red and green khmers as well as the crowd of "offended" persons waiving subpoenas ? Someone who could offer me 150 Megs of hosting space for a reasonable price and out of the reach of the EU censors and Pcers ?

Who hosts Ogrish.com or Rotten.com ? :-))

I don't mind being sued/beaten up (OK, I mind but it is part of the democracy game) over my opinions but I DO MIND being attacked in my back, via spineless ISP admins who take down a website without warning just because somebody sent them a mail saying they are "offended".

When I interview Ariel Sharon the pro-palestinian crowd screams murder and when I quote Oumma.com, the Betar and JDL shower me with threats... Apparently one of these two groups has managed to find the ear of my ISP :-)

Thanks for any advice you might have...
