I think it's pretty easy: no "ski trips or concerts" if they don't live up to their potential in school. Of all the rich kids I've known, the ones who did well (modulo their abilities: I'm not talking about "smart kids") in school grew up to be human beings; the ones who didn't, and were coddled by their parents, grew up to be monsters.
Now whether she can do that or not is the real question of whether she understands anything about race, class, and herself. Money and power lets you "get by" when you shouldn't (and when those who otherwise don't have the means DON'T). Teach them that (in the wrong way) early in life and you'll never get them off it: they'll be hooked.
