Mostly, they bring up that the King David Hotel was the British military 
headquarters, they say that they tried to give warnings by telephone 
before they bombed it and they give themselves some breathing space by 
emphasising that the attack was done by the Revisionist Irgun (Etzel) 
and not HaHaganah (which was the 'official' military wing of the Yishuv 
and became the IDF upon independence)...and usually they only refer to 
the interesting fact that Menachem Begin was head of the Irgun if that 
fact is first brought up by the questioning party...
