Should be a nonissue with most voters. In some jurisdictions it will preach to the already committed social conservatives; in other jurisdictions it may encourage Republicans hesitant to vote against their party's man to vote Kerry or stay at home. And LCR's are discounted even further in the GLTB communities for ever having bought the snake oil to begin with.
Something that I've noticed creeping up lately in Bush Town (aka Houston) is a quiet turn away from Bush and towards Kerry in unusual places. We live on the west side, a heavily Republican dominated area of Houston/Harris County. These are the people that put DeLay and Culberson in the House of Reps without a second glance. It's so heavily Republican that they have to pool five precincts together to have enough cause to run one designated Democratic polling place during primary season. Having said that, more than a few eyebrows were raised when I heard that my son's fifth grade elementary school's mock presidential election resulted in a strong Kerry landslide. The kids were mimicking their parents' positions and words, citing the war and "better work" (jobs/economy).
Heh, this is no Zogby or Gallup poll, but any sign of discontent, no matter how quiet or small, is always heartening when you live in Bush Country.
